Introduction
The "Carl von Ossietzky university of Oldenburg" created the training, which is financially supported by the EU within the framework of asylum-, migration and integration-stock. This training is especially meant for migrants and refugees, who already have done a training, study or work experience in such areas as education, social pedagogy or other social, occupational workfield. It is for those, who want to deepen and expand their knowledge.
Training goal
The situation of migrants and refugees is often embossed by structural barriers in the area of education. Thats why this rescource-oriented training will help you to get an extended qualification suitable to your own biography. It is one of the goals, to help on those migrants and refugees, who started their pedagogical studies or finished a social training in their home countries, to use their qualification and enter back into pedagogical jobs, here in Germany. These studys orientate themselves according to the participants knowledge, abilities and ressources.
Target group
You can take part of the course, if you are a citizen of a third country (people from non EU-states), if you have got a permanent residence in Germany or if you are on the way to have one. You can even participate, if you are a family member of supportative third country citizen, who permanently stay in Germany.
Required Admission
A study, training or job experience in the area of pedagogical or social, occupational area, plus adequate german knowledge, is required.
Training structure
The studies will take 9 month. It includes an internship of 10-12 weeks. It is possible to visit the seminars in Bremen or Hanover. They normaly take place at three days a week between 10am and 5pm.
Closure and graduation
A successful graduation of the training will be certified by the "Carl von Ossietzky university of Oldenburg".
